Paparoa and traversed the high seas during the months of August, September, and October, 1918'. The book was published in Auckland by the Brett Printing and Publishing Co.
The cover artist was Bryce Conrad Hart. He served as a second lieutenant with H. Company of the New Zealand Rifle Brigade Reinforcements.
